Mayor’s Christmas Parade

The band will march in the Baltimore, Maryland, Mayor’s Christmas Parade on Sunday, December 4th.  The parade will begin Falls Road and Coldspring Lane in the Hampden area of Baltimore and proceed south on Falls Road (see attached map).  The band is in Division 1 and will line up in the 4500 block of Falls Road.  The Hampden area is north of Inner Harbor inside the Baltimore Beltway.  The parade organizers recommend parking at the end of the parade route (West 38th Street and Elm Avenue).

Schedule:

10:45 am - Carpool departs Robert Wallace’s house

12:00 noon - Form up

1:00 pm - Parade steps off

Directions:

To the lineup point:  Proceed through downtown Baltimore to I-83 North.  Follow I-83 North to exit 9A, Cold Spring Lane.  Follow Cold Spring Lane east to Falls Road.

To the recommended parking area:  Proceed through downtown Baltimore to I-83 North.  Follow I-83 North to exit 8, Falls Road.  Merge onto Falls Road, MD Route 25 North.  Take the first right onto West 36th Street.  Turn left onto Elm Avenue and follow it to West 38th Street.

Uniform will include black sweaters.  Layer up appropriately for the weather.  The Baltimore weather forecast (as of November 28th) calls for partly cloudy with a high of 52 degrees and a low probability of rain.  Check the forecast later in the week.
